Meet Kymm Ann Wallin
In her work with pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, Kymm Ann draws upon a wealth of experience, having served hundreds of families as they journey into parenthood. Her approach is compassionate, genuine, and wise. Kymm Ann has worked with birthing families in various settings for over 20 years. She has supported families birthing in the hospital as a Doula, and as an Assistant Midwife in home birth and birth center settings. She now works as a Labor & Delivery RN. Kymm Ann received her bachelor’s in psychology in 1991, and finds this degree to be a useful springboard for her work with families in the childbearing year. Her strong interest and fascination with birth came to fruition in 1995. At this time she began her studies, and was honored to learn the delicate art of supporting women in labor and postpartum alongside seasoned doulas and midwives.
Kymm Ann feels honored to work with families during this very special and transformative time. She recognizes that each woman meets birth and parenting with a unique life history, as well as with individualized expectations, concerns, and hopes. She honors each woman’s choices for pregnancy, birth, and parenting. She provides a space for women to discover the tools and mindset which will allow them to open in labor, to work with the unknown elements of birth and early parenting, and as well to embrace any unexpected twists and turns which may be part of their journey.

Kymm Ann is the proud mother to a wonderful 20 year old son who is growing up way too fast, and is off at college now! (the saying “The days are long, but the years are short” in relation to parenting rings all too true for her).
When she is not working with mamas and babies, she might be….seizing special moments with her son during one of his breaks from college, enjoying a twilight hike, knitting, resale shopping, or tending to her numerous house plants or garden flowers.
